Pilvilajit - Cloud Types: Muutoin selkeää, mutta mereisen kosteaan ja erittäin lämpimään keskileveysasteiden ilmamassaan liittyen ajoittaisia sumupilviä. Ne liikkuivat kohtalaisesti oikealta vasemmalle. Utu samensi päivällä taivaan sinisyyttä ja aamulla oli etenkin sisämaassa sumuja - yhtenäistä sumupilvilauttaa - Otherwise clear, but associating with the humid, marine and very warm middle latitude air mass occasional stratus clouds. They moved moderately from the right to the left. Haze blurred the blueness of the sky in the afternoon and in the morning there was fog and even layers of stratus clouds especially in inland areas.

Kuvan kasvillisuus - Vegetation in the picture: Ruskan eteneminen oli edelleen lähes pysähtynyt ennätyksellisen lämpöaallon takia ja alueen maisema oli edelleen poikkeuksellisen kesäisen näköinen monin paikoin; ruska-ajan viive tavanomaiseen oli kasvupaikasta riippuen jopa yli 2 viikkoa. Huomioita säätilanteesta - Notes about the weather condition: Korkeapaine viipyi edelleen Suomen eteläpuolella ja lännen matalapaineiden vaikutuksesta erittäin lämmin ilmavirtaus jatkui lounaasta. Erittäin kesäisestä säästä huolimatta syksyn eteneminen näkyi tavallaan pimentyvien öiden lisäksi auringon säteilytehon vähenemisenä; sen takia sumupilvet eivät iltapäivälläkään hälvenneet kokonaan ja konvektiivisia kumpupilviä ei muodostunut enää hyvin - The high pressure lingered further in the southern side of Finland and with the influence of the western low pressures the very warm air flow continued from the southwest. Despite the very summery weather the proceeding of autumn was appearing in a way in addition to the darkening nights as decreasing of the sun's radiation power; that caused for example the fact, that stratus clouds weren't able to evaporate completely even during afternoon and convective cumulus clouds weren't formed well anymore.
