Pilvilajit - Cloud Types: Tilanteessa oli tilapäisesti lähes selkeää (paikoin untuvapilviä) korkeapaineen siirryttyä idemmäksi ja lounaassa olleen lämpimän rintaman siirryttyä eteläisen Suomen yli koilliseen. Illalla lämpimämmän ja kostean keskileveysasteiden ilmamassan vaikuttaessa yhä enemmän paikalle saapui sumupilvisyyttä - In the situation it was temporarily allmost clear (locally cirrus clouds) as the high pressure was moved more eastwards and the warm front in the southwest was moved to the northeast across southern Finland. In the evening as the warmer and humid middle latitude air mass was influencing further more there arrived stratus clouds into the scene.

Kuvan kasvillisuus - Vegetation in the picture: Lähes ennallaan edelliseen kuvaan verrattuna. Lämpimän sään ja kuivuuden jälkeen muodostuneen kosteuden vaikutus näkyi edelleen jopa n. 2 viikkoa myöhässä ilmaantuvina syysväreinä. Lähes täysin kesäasussa olivat edelleen mm. tammi (Quercus robur) ja lehmukset (Tilia sp.). Pimentyneet yöt mahdollistivat heikkotuulisessa säässä runsaan kasteen ja heikentynyt auringon säteily ei kuivattanut enää voimakkaasti maata. Maaperä oli kuivuuden jälkeen kuitenkin vielä tavanomaista kuivempi ja vesistöissä veden pinnat olivat alle tavanomaisen tason - Allmost unchanged as compared to the previous photo. The influence of the warm weather and the moisture formed after the drought were showing further as even about 2 week delay of the fall colours. Allmost completely in their summer foliage were further for example English Oak (Quercus robur) and Lindens / Limes (Tilia sp.). The darkened nights made a profuse dew possible in the weakly windy weather and the decreased sun radiation power didn't dry up the ground effectively anymore. However the ground was yet drier than usually after the drought and water levels in water areas were lower than the average.

Huomioita säätilanteesta - Notes about the weather condition: Eteläisen Suomen lähellä viipynyt rintamasyteemi antoi edellisen ja tämän päivän alussa paikoin hyvin vähäistä sadetta. Rintama siirtyi hitaasti koilliseen, kun korkeapaine siirtyi Suomen kaakkoispuolelle; lounaan kostea ja leuto ilmamassa siirtyi vähitellen takaisin Etelä-Suomeen - The frotal system lingered near southern Finland gave locally very minor rain during the previous and early part of this day. The front moved slowly to the northwest, as the high pressure moved to the southeastern side of Finland; the humid and mild air mass of the southwest moved cradually back into southern Finland.
