Pilvilajit - Cloud Types: Etelä-Suomen ylle jääneen rintamasysteemin pilvisyyttä (vaihtelevasti mm. verho-, hahtuva- ja kumpukerrospilviä) piilossa kuvassa näkyvän yhtenäisen sumupilvikerroksen yllä. Sumupilvet liikkuivat hitaasti vasemmalta oikealle - Over the even layer of stratus clouds seen in the photo a hiding cloudyness (variably for example altostratus, altocumulus and stratocumulus clouds) of a frontal system stucked over southern Finland. The stratus clouds moved slowly from the left to the right.

Ennätyksellisen suuri tehoisan lämpösumman arvo näkyi tässä vaiheessa lähinnä yksittäisten ulkomaisten lajien poikkeuksellisen hyvin kehittyneenä kasvuna; mm. hyvin puutuneet oksat, kuten valeakaasian (Robinia pseudoacacia) tapauksessa, jopa ylikypsinä varisseet mustaseljan (Sambucus nigra) marjat ja syyshortensian (Hydrangea paniculata "Grandiflora") erityisen punaiseksi muuttuneet kukinnot (siellä missä kuun puolivälin pakkaset eivät tehneet niille vaurioita) - Allmost unchaged as compared to the previous photo. The record big value of the effective temperature sum was showing at this phase mainly as unusually well developed growth of single foreign species; for example well woody shoots, like in the case of Black Locust (Robinia pseudoacacia), Elderberry's (Sambucus nigra) berries shed even as over ripe and flower heads of Panicle Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata "Grandiflora") turned especially red (there where the frosts of the middle month weren't causing damages to them).

Huomioita säätilanteesta - Notes about the weather condition: Edelliseksi ja täksi päiväksi Etelä-Suomi jäi vaihtelevan rintamasysteemin vyöhykkeeseen, jossa toinen pieni matalapaine liikkui lännestä itään. Vyöhyke erotti pohjoisen kylmän ja syksyisen ilmamassan etelän kosteasta ja kesäisestä ilmamassasta; tarkastelupaikalla tämä näkyi näinä kahtena päivänä koko ajan pilvisenä säänä, mutta sadetta tuli hyvin heikosti lähinnä tihkuna. Eteläinen ilmamassa vaikutti ajoittain tiheinä sumuina (etenkin tänä yönä ja aamuna), koska tuulet olivat koko ajan hyvin heikkoja. Temperatures remained very high especially at nights (partly a fault of the dense cloudyness), allthough the cold air mass in the north was near.
